The Sewing Haven collects only what it needs to deliver what you ask for — and nothing gets sold to anyone, ever.

What we collect. When you buy a book, we collect your email address and payment details (handled entirely by Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers). When you sign up for a free download, the email list, or the Printed Edition waitlist, we collect your email address. If you choose to receive a discount code by text, we collect your phone number for that purpose.

How we use it. To deliver your purchases and downloads, send the emails you signed up for, send the one-time text you requested, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link, and one click honors it.

Who processes it. Stripe (payments), our email service provider (email delivery and list management), and our SMS provider (the one-time discount text). Each processes your data only to provide their service to us. We may use advertising and analytics pixels (such as Meta and Google) to measure the site; these use cookies per their own policies.

Your choices. Unsubscribe from email anytime via the link in any message. Want your data corrected or deleted? Reply to any email from us and ask — we’ll take care of it.
